Steve Hill is president of Tone Commander. Since purchasing the
company in 1992, Steve worked aggressively to develop new
technologies and products, increase sales and make key acquisitions.
Under his leadership, Tone Commander has introduced nine new product
lines with more than 50 products; developed new core technologies in
ISDN and VoIP telephony products; coordinated the successful
acquisition and expansion of its E9-1-1 product line; and tripled
sales, improving earnings from a net loss to millions in annual net
income.
Prior to purchasing Tone Commander, Steve was the engineering manager at Datacom Technologies, where he set up a new engineering department and managed development of the majority of the company’s product line, including data transmission equipment, hand-held data network testers, printer-sharing equipment, and networking equipment. Steve started his career as a senior design engineer at Tone Commander, where his responsibilities included hardware and firmware design, design specification and review, system integration, and project management. |

Steven W. Walker is director of sales and marketing for Tone
Commander. A 36-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Walker
is a talented sales and marketing executive who brings a wealth
of experience from numerous roles at Tone Commander and other industry
leading companies.
Walker started his career at Teltone Corporation, a Kirkland, Wash., manufacturer of voice communication products and OEM components, which is now part of Industrial Defender. At Teltone, Walker worked his way all the way up from a production and repair technician to national sales and marketing manager and ultimately head of the company’s OEM business unit. Walker spent the next four years at MX-Com Inc., where he oversaw sales and marketing for the Winston-Salem, N.C., company as a manager and then vice president. In 1998, Walker joined Tone Commander as its director of sales and marketing, a position he has held for the last 10 years. |

Thomas M. Beck joined Tone
Commander in 2007 as its business development executive. In this role he
manages product development, marketing, advertising, PR, and strategic
partner relationships. In addition, Beck oversees sales force
implementation of all strategic initiatives, channel relationship
management, and the hardware/software design team for new VoIP products.
Prior to joining Tone Commander, Beck held numerous executive roles at 3M Communications. After starting his career at 3M as a distribution sales manager, Beck rapidly rose up the ranks. In 2001, he was promoted to key account sales manager, and then quickly moved to regional sales manager for 3M’s northwest region, where he was responsible for Idaho, Oregon, Northern California, and Washington State. In 2005, 3M promoted Beck to national director of sales, where he was responsible for marketing, sales and product development strategy to the cable TV industry; key clients included Comcast, Cox, Qwest, Time Warner, and Verizon. |

Dan DuByne came to Tone Commander in 2000 with a strong background in relationship selling and account management skills. He is now a senior account executive with a primary focus on government accounts. Prior to Tone Commander, DuByne worked as an outside regional sales manager for Alfa Tec Inc., a Seattle-based company that provides equipment, parts and service to the marine, oilfield, industrial and food processing industries. His territory included Canada, as well as Oregon and Washington State. DuByne holds a BS degree in engineering and is a former U.S. Naval officer. | |||
