  8610 / 8620 / 8810 User Setup Program – Installing on Windows Vista

When installing the 8610 / 8620 / 8810 ISDN Telephone User Setup Program on Windows Vista, the installer must be run in compatibility mode to properly install support files required by the program.


Right-click the installer program, 8xxx_User_Setup_01_01_05, and select Properties.

  
 Select Properties.

 

Click the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for:, select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the drop down list, then click OK.


 Select Compatiblility Mode.

 

Double-click 8xxx_User_Setup_01_01_05 to install the User Setup Program.

Compatibility mode is only required for the installer. After installation, the User Setup Program runs in Vista mode.
