The NT1-296 high density rack with NT1U-223TC cards supports up to 96 ISDN terminals. Terminal power is provided by the integral power supply.

The optional NT1-200/296 Battery Backup allows a fully loaded rack with Tone Commander telephones to operate 2.5 - 3 hours during a power failure; operating time may increased to over 8 hours with additional NT1-200 Add-on Batteries.
