| How PBX ANI-Link® Works | |
| Interfacing to the
911 Network
PBXs that serve multiple facility addresses, building locations, floors, etc., often prevent the exact address of the 9-1-1 caller from reaching emergency services because the PBX only reports the location of the main switch. As a result, emergency personnel can be dispatched to the wrong address. PBX ANI-Link® identifies the specific calling station and forwards its number and location on to the 9-1-1 Center. Emergency services can then be dispatched to the correct location. |
